Hello, I am Karen Wilson…The Whole Food Chef.
All my adult life I have enjoyed experimenting with food. But all too often, when faced with the prospect of creating wonderful meals or dishes for others, I felt overwhelmed.
It prompted me to start practicing on my friends in my small Tudor cottage in Gloucestershire. The easy bit was organising and decorating the table setting. But eventually I gained the confidence to bring my culinary creativity and skills to the table.
Thankfully it was a great success!
More recently, I have been faced with my own health issues. This prompted me to explore how our health and wellbeing can be influenced by environmental factors, over which we may have little control. But also by our lifestyles and eating habits,
over which we have total control.
This inspired me to take charge of my life. Somehow, the way I was living was affecting my body and wellbeing. So something had to change. I started by becoming much more aware of what I was eating and enrolled in an intensive Nutritional Therapy Course.
It soon became obvious to me that the choice and quality of the food we eat is vital to our health and wellbeing. I also came to realise that we can change our destiny by choosing to eat pure whole foods rather than pre-packaged, processed and fast foods.
And so, The Whole Food Chef was born!
I now wish to share this knowledge with others and demonstrate that ‘sensible eating’ doesn’t have to be bland or boring!
